Summer 2013 Day 3 : Reviving Henshin Up

Well since I am working to put a few casts back up and running again the thought of reviving Henshin Up came to mind. So, first order of business, line up review content... off we go!

Comics
Recently adding a Kindle Fire HD to my reviewing technology added new things to review, and brought back one thing missing since the PlayStation Network was reformed post the Anonymous hacker attack of a few years ago, mainly digital comics... okay the picking is ultra slim but I will review Kamen Rider Volume 1-3 and I think Kikaider. At least there is that.

Super Sentai
Good news! Somebody finally put Gokaiger up on YouTube and it has yet to be taken down... well, Goseiger is also available so I do have at least two only so old series to speak about... better than nothing.

Kamen Rider
I haven't checked Kamen Rider yet but maybe the ban on at least Double or OOOs or... dare I dream... Fourze is over with... well, maybe just Double. Can't be too greedy.

Yeah. With KR slash Super Sentai your basically lucky the banbot stops banning after a few years and only focuses on the present few years of content. I can live with a few year wait as long as it becomes available to watch after a reasonable amount of time... come to think of it, why don't the people behind both just say straight out just that. After x amount of time you can feel free to post x series without fear of your content bring banned. And it doesn't even seem to be an outrageous amount of time either, maybe... however long it has been since Gokaiger. Even I think just plainly asking for a few year embargo on new Kamen Rider slash Super Sentai is acceptable if the prize is unlimited access once the embargo ends. It is not asking too much if the prize is unfethered access at the end of the wait.

Power Rangers
Guess I am looking up Mega Force episodes... maybe that is an indicator of when a Super Sentai is unlocked, when it's Power Rangers counterpart launches. Anyway looking into it, hope to heck the characters are not as bland and vanilla as they were in Samurai.

Lots to go over for a new relaunch of Henshin Up... So just waiting on that laptop... sigh, yet another blog tied up waiting on that one trade to complete. Sigh... stay tuned.

Podcast Update September 29th

Henshin Up Classics Episode 13, containing the first two episodes of Power Rangers Henshin, is now available. After Power Rangers Henshin is done Classics will continue as an original series covering 20th Century Tokusatsu, Super Sentai, Power Rangers, Animation and more. Stay tuned for more info as we near our first 100% original episode. Presently working on 2012 Episode 2 (Kamen Rider Wizard and Gobusters), stay tuned for updates.

- Go-Busters Episodes 1-5 reviewed (Dekarangers Ep 1-5 reviewed episode 3, Magirangers in Ep 4).
- Commentary - Why is Toei being so difficult? (Fourze, Gokaiger, etc)

Doctor Who Special (UK Podcast - ian) now available for download

The title basically says it all. I didnt make this but recommend you listen to it. Very informative cast. Try it out.

Henshin Up 2012 Episode 1 is finally out and now available for download, so check it out (along with Henshin Up Jukebox 2012 Episode 2)!

Next I am putting up a two part Doctor Who Special podcast from the UK for all of you to check out (upcoming Random Podcasts section), so that is coming up shortly.

Next up I am working on Henshin Up 2012 Episode 2, hope to have it out mid September. Also working on Henshin Up Classics Episode 13, which I hope to have out next week knock on wood.

Henshin Up 2012 Episode 1 (80% complete) and Jukebox 2012 Episode 2 (90% complete) set to release.

Presently working on Henshin Up 2012 Episode 2, with a planned release date of September 23rd planned (continuing phase 1 with Super Sentai, Animation, Doctor Who and Random Review).

Henshin Up 2012 Ep 1 FINALLY in production!

Finally settled on what to use for reviews (youtube/Wii), and working now on Episode 1 which is a truly random batch of content that I am playing enntirely by ear.

The first 10 minutes so far contain the following.

- Look at Kamen Rider Super One Episode 1 (1980)
- Short Atrtntion Span Theater presents Kamen Rider Stronger, Amazon and X versus the Delzer Army
- Doctor Who Anime mini (2010)
- Spiderman Episode 1 (Toei - 1978) (...because, you know, the desecration of beloved series is something both sides of the pacific is guilty of... here's proof!)
