Only TWO showings a week?!?)

Are you serious, Nick?!?

One repeat showing... at the same early hour of the first showing?!? Some of us can't get to the TV at that time of the morning (I have family monopolizing the TV room until noon some days... all day others)... so how am I going to review again with such a lousy repeat airing schedule, Nick? Come on!

Well, I can at least review Gokaiger on my own terms... if it ever gets released in fan sub already.

This is a most trying week it seems! Dammit!

Power Rangers Henshin Max Week 6 and 7 Updates

Week 6 is coming today (Friday February 18th), so stay tuned for it's release. This week we talk our first review of retro Power Rangers game reviews, the Kids Choice Awards is handicapped... and we're still waiting for Nick to repeat Power Rangers Samurai Episode 2, as well as for the fan sub of Gokaiger Episode 1.

Start of Week 7 we match up Power Ranger Samurai episodes to their Shinkenger episodes to date, including what Episode 3 is going to be this coming Sunday (February 20th). Following that? I am hoping episode reviews, and I put out my first complaining open letter of 2011... this is concerning Saban, and covers both their ridiculous redressing of Disney's failed Remastering of Series 1 of Power Rangers as official canon, as well as me wanting to see some digital comics out of Saban this year... for review of course.

For some reason the last two times I tried to upload our first Shinkenger episode I got a server rejected notice... odd... wonder why. I'll look into it. In the meantime it looks like Episode 1 was, in fact, Episode 3 of Shinkenger... my bad. But wow, that means out of the starting gate and already two episodes are considered "lost" already... sad.

Updates on uploading Shinkenger episodes for comparison coming soon.

Power Rangers Henshin Max Update and an Apology

Sorry, missed our episodic posting last Sunday, will get it up next Sunday for sure.

Power Rangers Henshin Up Max Week 6 is almost done, but the reviews for Power Rangers Samurai Episode 2 has been delayed (while I wait for it to reair on Nick) as well as the review of Gokaiger (while I wait to download the fan sub episode 1). Will get to work on Week 7 right away to review both, as well as Power Rangers Samurai Episode 3 and the new breed of Power Rangers Samurai toy commercials out now (just saw my first one for the morphing 6 1/2 inch figures).

50th Post! Old School Power Rangers Test 2 featuring Power Rangers Wild Force "Forever Red" Part 2!

Looks like it works so next time this Sunday we'll have an old school original Power Rangers episode to show you! Stay tuned! Speaking of which check out the new poll we have up concerning Power Rangers series 1 (and whether or not you believe Saban Brands' idea canonizing Power Rangers' original first season Remastering in 2010 as the 18th Season of Power Rangers... no matter how bizarre and odd such a thought is!

Did nobody explain to Saban Brands you can't take your first season, do a half arsed attempt at "Remastering", put it out lazy style (well, Disney did that half arsed attempt in any case since it's the last year they had the franchise)... then attempt to canonize it as Season 18! That's stupid, Saban! Stupid!

Old School Power Rangers Episodic Test 1 of 2 : Power Rangers Wild Force "Forever Red" Part 1 of 2

If this works we'll post an old school episode on Sundays every Sunday... so we'll see, knock on wood. This is Power Rangers Wild Force's Forever Red episode with every Red Ranger to Wild Force (and that's quite abit of Red Rangers teaming up). The conclusion? Coming up Friday, then Sunday we'll post our first episode (from the classic original Power Rangers to start off with).

An old school episode a week? Hmm...

I'm going to see if old episodes of Power Rangers can be posted for a Sunday post a week, old school stuff just to pique your interest abit. Going to test that shortly, so fingers crossed.

Sad that there's only this one promo to date, with the series about to launch imminently (with only 2 days to go as of this day, with it coming out Saturday here, Sunday in Japan) but it's better than nothing. Sigh.

Power Rangers Samurai Preview Clip... aka the REAL Episode 1

Remember this? The preview clip that came out before the series launch to warm us up for Power Rangers Samurai? This is from what should have been Episode 1, based of course on Samurai Sentai Shinkenger Episode 1 (near the end when the team henshin for the first time and confront their first sub boss enemy of the week). So where was this episode? Look, they obviously filmed it (since all the clips of the intro that showed before Power Rangers Samurai Episode 1 last week were from this episode) so why did they not use it as Episode 1 anyway? Boggles the mind. Boggles the mind.

Next up? Gokaiger's first preview trailer from Japan!

It's here! At last we review the first episode of Power Rangers Samurai (mislabeled during the first half of the cast as Power Rangers Samurai Episode 2, but I explain the confusion why as the cast goes along!

Reviews of Supah Ninjas Episode 1, Power Rangers Samurai Episode 1, and the last pre-review look at Gokaiger before it's premiere on February 13th (first review coming in Power Rangers Henshin Max Week 6 which will include a review of Power Rangers Samurai Episode 2 and possibly 3.

Power Rangers Henshin Week 5 is done!

All done with Week 5, coming out shortly. This week we review Supah Ninja Episode 1, Power Rangers Samurai Episode 1 and talk about Gokaiger one more time before the review in Week 6.

Week 6 we'll review Power Rangers Samurai Episode 2, maybe Episode 3 if we take abit of time to assemble the cast. Gokaiger Episode 1 once it's fan subbed by TV-Nihon. Finally we look at the first part of Power Rangers games past with Power Rangers The Movie Video Game for the SEGA Genesis and Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue for the N64.

Power Rangers Cafe Week 2 Ready

Strange, I thought I had already downloaded Power Rangers Cafe Week 1... guess I better recheck that and get it out. In the meantime I am working to get Week 3 out, but it's abit late as Power Rangers Samurai Episode 1 premieres tomorrow (Monday). So I'll add that to Power Rangers Henshin Max Week 5's cast.
