Henshin Up Max Week 8 Released

Henshin Up Max Week 8 is now available, and wraps up Phase 2 as we review Episodes 14 and 15 of Kamen Rider Decade (the two Den-O episodes) and the Chou Den-O slash Decade crossover movie, as well as Kiki's Delivery Service (first Miyazaki movie review with more coming in Phase 3).

Next week it's our special Star Trek The Animated Series review cast (tying into Star Trek Weeks in DVD Parade Max) and in two weeks we begin Phase 3. Stay tuned!

This Week's Henshin Up Max

Henshin Up Max returns with Week 8, featuring Kamen Rider Decade slash Chou Den-O movie, and my reviews of two of my favorite Miyazaki movies (Kiki's Delivery Service and Spirited Away).

That brings Phase 2 to an end, and next week after (Week 9) launches Phase 3 of reviews. But more news on that Sunday when the new casts are out. Stay tuned.

One Week Off

No casts this week. Sorry. We'll be back next week with Henshin Up Max Week 8 (the final cast of Phase 2 covering Kamen Rider and Reviewer's Choice). Then after that it's Week 9 and the start of Phase 3... hopefully by then we're making progress on guest casters, but if not I have a few all cast ideas floating about to kick around but more information on that in two weeks. Stay tuned.

Today's Update : Power Rangers podcast?

Certainly I am not implying that Power Rangers has a future at present, short of Disney relinquishing the rights to someone else and they bring it back with new stuff... but there is more than enough content at present to justify just a podcast covering American stuff like Power Rangers, the one failed attempt at Kamen Rider in America (Masked Rider), stupid retarded spinoffs trying to cash in on Power Rangers and so on. But will that ever occur? Once we reach a following of... hmm... 12 followers we'll put the vote out again and see again if there's interest in a Power Rangers themed cast (a once every three weeks kind of cast). Stay tuned.

No Releases Next Week

Next week we'll give Henshin Up Max a week off so we can get new blood flowing, and since we had zero reaction to Jukebox Henshin might as well retire that until interest perks on it. So we'll be back in two weeks with what I hope is the end of Phase 2 with reviews from Kamen Rider Decade and Den-O as well as my two favorite Hayao Miyazaki movies, Kiki's Delivery Service and Spirited Away.

Then Phase Three. Still planning to have guest hosts (though that is a slow meandering process) and hopefully first talk up the September 2010 Kamen Rider series Kamen Rider 000's... we'll see. Stay tuned, updates as we go along.
